All aspirations as long as they are legitimate are valid.  However, not all aspirations work for everyone.  To be told that you can become anything you put your heart to, while it is good motivation to get you going, it is not the best for you.

Every one is optimized, resourced and called for different things and whenever our aspirations don’t align with our core, our journey into fulfillment suffers.  To get the best out of our lives, there is a need to recognise what our True North is but beyond that, should have aspirations that align and dovetail with our True North.  To help you navigate the process, here is a list of what you can do.

1.  Acknowledge what you were given.  Most of us want what others have, and that can lead us to pursue paths that have not been charted for us.
2. Explore what you have received to determine the value within it.  When you do, you will chance upon Vision and Mission.
3. Develop what you have explored into s product, service or skill.
4. Find your True North relationships and nurture them into dependable allies.
5. Deploy what you have been given.  Ensure that others get the opportunity to experience your brilliance.
6.  Take what you now have and repeat the process, again and again, to give your Core the opportunity to release all that it holds.

I am aware that living a life of purpose can be daunting and even slow paced sometimes, but that is the beauty of this journey.  As slow as it is, you cannot afford the mistake of rushing into what you are not called to, especially when accelerating and speed can happen any time now.
