Welcome to the Nevertheless Show, today we will be discussing key mindsets for thriving in difficult times.
- Acknowledge Your Adversary, Focus on God: It’s crucial to recognize that we have an adversary, but our primary focus should be on God. In tough times, it’s easy to fixate on the enemy’s actions, but our strength comes from focusing on God’s promises and presence. Remember, God’s plans are for our good, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11.
- Pray with Intent and Persistence: In moments of pressure, prayer becomes our lifeline. Even when words fail, praying in tongues can help. Prayer is an announcement to heaven that we rely on God. It’s not just about seeking answers but about reinforcing our dependence on Him. When the Israelites faced the Red Sea, Moses prayed, and God provided a miraculous solution.
- Remain Calm, Confident, and Patient: Staying calm and confident is vital. Moses exemplified this at the Red Sea, calming the Israelites and focusing on God’s instructions. Confidence in God’s ability to deliver us is a stabilizer. As Romans 8:28 assures, all things work together for good for those who love God. Patience allows God to work in His timing, leading to lasting outcomes.
Difficult times are inevitable, but with the right mindset and trust in God, we can thrive. Embrace these principles to strengthen your inner resilience. Remember, tough times don’t last, but tough people do.
Don’t forget, discovering your purpose helps you live more powerfully.
