Right answers are not only dependent on a mastery of the subject matter; they are mostly dependent on an understanding of the question we have been asked. In John 5, Jesus asked the man at the side of the pool Bethesda the question; ‘do you want to be made whole?’.  When you read or hear this question, what does mean to you?  Did Jesus ask a man who had been ill for 38 years if he wanted to be well, or was He asking a deeper question?
