If I had tried to collate the value I had either lost or missed because I could not or did not discern what was happening around me properly, I am sure it will be a lot.

1 Chronicles 12:32 talks about the sons of Issachar who understood the times and the seasons.  The nation of Israel knew what to do because of their capacity to discern.  Whether you are trying to determine if or not to take a job or determine who to marry or something as seemingly simple as what route to drive to work on a certain day, discernment is critical.  The sum total of our lives is the aggregate of the decisions we make over time.  To be at the risk of consistently making mindless decisions because one is lacking in discernment is disastrous.

On today’s show, I bring you the importance of discernment.  You will learn that…

• Discernment is the grace and skill to clearly define.
• Discernment is senses based but that sense is spiritual.
• It is risky to take on even potentially great things without the right discernment.
• Discernment left at the sensory level can have catastrophic results.

It is no wonder that Jesus would not leave His disciples without Holy Spirit to help their discernment amongst many other things.  Now that you know how important it is to be discerning, please make a commitment to ensure you lean more on the Spirit of Discernment for help.  This is great wisdom!
