What is your favourite place on earth?  I know you probably have some exotic destination in mind, right?  Well, not me.  My favourite place on earth is my bedroom, wherever my bedroom is in the season of life I am in. Because of this home bug that has bitten me, I have not one of the best travelers you will find around.  The maximum outside my home that I can conveniently do is two weeks; after that, there is no telling how homesick I can get.

On our journey with God, we all get homesick, but very few of us recognise that fact.  When in life, regardless of what you have achieved, there is a consistent tug in your heart; the odds are, you are sick for home.  This homesickness, unlike the one I feel when I travel isn’t about returning home, as it is about the assurance that when the time comes, there is a place in Father’s house for you.

Jesus says it this way; I go to prepare a place for you; in my father’s house, there are many mansions. On today’s installment of Bankable, we take a look at the idea of home beyond what our ordinary eyes can see.
